This book contains a critical analysis of the experience of the municipal schools of Reggio Emilia, reflections on the tools of design, with indications on the distribution and space and soft qualities (light, colour, materials, smell, sound, microclimate) and essays discussing the pedagogical and architectural/design issues which form the theoretical basis of research.
