The Reggio Emilia Australia Information Exchange (REAIE) is the reference organisation appointed by Reggio Children, Reggio Emilia, for facilitating dialogue and the exchange of information between Australia and the educators in the city of Reggio Emilia. The purpose of the organisation is to advocate for the rights and potentials of young children in Australian educational settings. REAIE publishes the Challenge journal and provides support to educators and parents, study tours to Reggio Emilia, conferences, exhibitions and special research projects. REAIE members come from Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Basin.

REAIE is supported by a bequest from the Frank Leyden Tot Ed Foundation.

By becoming a member of REAIE, you will be joining a national learning community who share information, inspiration and experiences in response to the provocation of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project.

There are several categories of membership: Individual, Individual concession, various organisational levels and a Challenge journal subscription.

Australian and international educators and other professionals who have been challenged by the pedagogical project in Reggio 
Emilia, share their work, their experiences and their thinking in this journal.

Members receive regular updates about:

Network Support:
Members are supported to form their own networks or to join existing networks for the purpose of collaboration and professional learning.

Scholarships and Study Grants
Open to individual members (with at least 12 months membership) only, scholarships and study grants assist in providing greater access to REAIE professional learning.

Discount Rates for Professional Learning
Individual members receive discounts for all REAIE professional learning programs (excluding the study tours to Reggio Emilia). Organisational members are entitled to individual member rates for limited numbers of participants when the organisation arranges and pays for registrations.
